Class Descriptions
BODYCOMBAT - A fat-blasting series
of jabs, punches, kicks and marches put together in
combinations. Builds mental confidence, strength, and
discipline. Easy to learn.
BODYFLOW - Mix of strong, energetic
movements that flow from one posture to the next. It
targets every major portion of the body by using power
yoga poses nd stretches. It is designed to hat the body
internally to build strength, increase cardiovascular
endurance, and calm the mind.
BODYJAM - BODYJAM™ is the cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance styles and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat. Funky instructors teach you to move with attitude through this 55-minute class. So grab a friend, get front and center and get high on the feeling of dance.
BODYPUMP - BODYPUMP is a strength
endurance training class where muscle and music collide!
It is designed to get you maximum results in the shortest
amount of time by working your entire body in one hour.
BODYSTEP - BODYSTEP is the All Systems Go workout. Compelling cardio fitness that shapes and tones the legs, improves co-ordination, bone density, posture and agility with out the dance moves.
Interval Step - Designed to get muscles
moving and endorphins flowing by alternating step with
weights, body bars and band routines.
NIA - Combined cardio movements from
Tai Chi, Tae Kwondo, Aikido, tribal and ethnic dance,
yoga and jass dance set to a energetic blend of music.
Pilates - A mind body technique by
using the breath, developing core stability, flexibility,
and muscle tone without impacting joints.
Power Pump -
RPM/Spinning - Welcome to Spinning at
World Gym. This cycling program is led by a certified
instructor to music for everyone, any age, at every
level of fitness. The program utilizes motivation, sports
psychology and the most thoroughly tested cycling techniques
available. Come 10 minutes early to your very first
class for bike setup and instructions.
Step & Conditioning - A dynamic energetic step
workout that will accommodate all fitness levels.
Step Max -
Strong - Strong is a weight training
program that uses the group strength by Iron Grip as
the primary resistance tool. Designed to accommodate
a wide range of fitness levels, our goals are to improve
muscular strength and endurance, providing our students
with a safe and effective workout.
Yoga/Ball - A centering exercise,
warm-up stretches, classical YOGA postures (HATHA YOGA)
with a stress management focus. Each class ends with
a guided relaxation.
Yoga-Pilates-Ball - A dynamic fun way
to stretch, strengthen, tone, increase flexibility and
postural awareness from stability ball training. The
stability ball will be used for portions of the class. |
